Pulmonary Program

Our comprehensive pulmonary program is paired with extensive diagnostic testing and pulmonary function testing (PFT). This ensures that we provide the best possible treatments and outcomes for our patients. Our protocols aid in the relief of uncomfortable symptoms, promote healing from within and help slow the progression of pulmonary disease.

We treat Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, bronchi excesses, and sarcoidosis.  Symptoms of pulmonary disease may include breathing difficulty, cough, mucus (sputum) production and wheezing.

Our Pulmonary Diagnostic Services

Initial Consultation

An initial consultation might include the following: you'll answer questions about your symptoms and medical history, and then have a physical exam. The doctor might need to perform tests to make a diagnosis and recommend treatment. The tests might include blood work, a chest X-ray, a CT scan or Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT). PFTs are non-invasive tests that measure breathing and show how well the lungs are working.

Depending on the diagnosis, there are many treatment options including oral and inhaled medications. Your treatment plan will be largely dictated by the findings made during your examination and diagnostic/imaging test results.

You can be assured that our team tailors each and every pulmonary visit, as no two patients are alike. We take the necessary time and give proper attention to accurately diagnose and treat every patient’s condition. We know that all patients, especially those experiencing breathing difficulties or chest pain, are anxious for a solution, and we want you to feel confident that our time and efforts will produce quality outcomes with adequate and effective course of treatment. Our goal is to alleviate your discomfort and get you back to living a normal life. This may include several follow up visits, physical therapy, maintenance medication or other treatment options. Your dedication to working the plan and sticking to it is essential to your full recovery!
